One of the key components of many successful websites is a high degree of traffic. A great way to obtain this is to be sure the pages of your site are among the first in a list of Google’s search results. Google SEO optimization is not difficult, and by focusing on a few key things, you can make your site more likely to be seen in a search and bring more visitors to it.

First, be sure to choose good page titles. You want titles that are relevant to and descriptive of your page’s content, as well as unique. This way your page will show up when someone conducts a search related to the material you’re presenting. Think about the keywords of your content and try to include them in your title.

You should also change the structure of your page’s URL so that it contains the keywords. In addition to improving Google SEO optimization, this can make it easier for users to remember the address of your page should they wish to visit again.

Site navigation is important as well. Not only will visitors be able to easily traverse your site once they arrive, but Google tries to understand how each result it finds is related in the higher scheme of things. You’ll notice this in the “similar pages” results that sometimes show up.

Most importantly, provide quality content to your visitors. This will make them likely to recommend it to others, increase your popularity, and increase the likelihood that others will link to your site. When Google finds a page is highly linked to by other pages, it puts that result higher on its list than other, lesser popular pages. Good, quality content will ensure that once your page is found, it will become known.

By following these tips, you can improve the Google SEO optimization of your site and drive more traffic to it. These are simple, small things, but they will make a big difference.
